Life at the Feeder

Mostly I get black-capped chickadees, sparrows, house finches, and doves at my feeder, but a quail couple comes by daily and best of all this year--lazuli buntings! They've stopped coming now, but were around for a couple of weeks. I haven't seen them in 25 years. (Cracks me up when birds get inside the suet cages--they look like they're in jail. I don't put out suet as it gets too hot here and melts, creating a terrible mess.)
